Geography

Geography at ABS intends to provoke a sense of who our children are, their diverse heritage and what makes our local area unique and special.

We aim to stimulate and provide answers to questions about the most intriguing natural and human aspects of geography. In this ever-changing, interconnected world, we want our children to leave us with a curiosity and fascination for the planet we call home. 

The local area is utilised to achieve desired outcomes, with opportunities for learning outside the classroom. School trips and fieldwork are provided to give first-hand experiences, which enhance children's understanding of the world.
